What makes me passionate about being a healthcare provider is being able to build meaningful connections with patients, empowering them to take control of their health, and guiding them through every step of their journey. Being able to see the direct impact of care towards these patients – whether it is helping them navigate a new diagnosis or simply trying to improve their overall well-being – is incredibly fulfilling and what is most rewarding to me. In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs? In my opinion, a Primary Care Provider plays a unique and vital role by being the central point of care for a patient's overall well-being. Besides addressing acute concerns and chronic conditions, a Primary Care Provider's role is to see the whole patient by incorporating physical, behavioral, and emotional health, and ensuring no part of the patient's well-being is overlooked. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time? I enjoy spending time with family and friends, exploring creative projects with art, and tending to my growing collection of plants. I also love taking long outdoor walks to unwind and connect with nature.
