Okechi believes that a primary care provider should serve as a trusted partner who delivers comprehensive, patient-centered care by addressing both physical and behavioral health needs. This includes preventing and treating illness, recognizing the impact of mental health on overall wellness, coordinating care when needed, and empowering patients through education and shared decision-making. By building strong, trusting relationships, primary care providers can help patients achieve better long-term health and quality of life. Outside of work, Okechi enjoys spending quality time with her family, trying new recipes, and exploring ways to live a healthy, balanced lifestyle. She also likes reading and traveling.
