Lauren Gilbert, NP

As a certified nurse practitioner, Lauren is passionate about breaking down barriers for Americans to access quality healthcare. By practicing on a virtual platform, she is able to put her passion to work and really maximize patient outreach. She loves to see the impacts of her practice and the improvements of health outcomes take shape right before her eyes. It is imperative for primary care providers to support and engage their patients as active partners in their physical and behavioral healthcare. This partnership encourages health awareness and mutual accountability, and is proven to contribute to overall wellbeing. In her practice, Lauren prioritizes establishing a trusting rapport by actively listening to and validating patients' concerns and emotions. The trust gained and this safe environment for open dialogue establish mutual respect, and oftentimes help her identify more information of substance that can supplement her clinical process and plan. Lauren was born and raised in a small town in central Kentucky and currently resides in Lexington. She comes from a family of four girls, and her sisters are her best friends. She loves to jet-set off to new destinations at every chance she gets! She makes sure to immerse herself in the culture and live like a local as much as possible. While at home, her two dogs Boomer and Bode are always by her side.
