Karen loves building relationships with her patients, which foster trust and understanding so they can work together to achieve the healthiest lifestyle, mentally and physically. Through her years of primary care experience, she has enjoyed educating her patients and working with them to attain their goals. She feels that primary care should be a partnership between the provider and patient working together to achieve healthy goals. Listening to the patient and understanding where they are coming from is an important part of the primary care provider's role. When she is not caring for patients, Karen and her husband can be found attending their children's hockey games and competitive dance / pom performances in the area. She also loves to read, travel, scuba dive, and spin workouts.
