Janis Whitehead, NP

Janis loves the challenge of finding the cause of disease, treating it as well as preventing it. She loves seeing positive results and improving the quality of people's lives. The role of a primary care provider is to take into account the entire health history, lifestyle, and diet, and to put it all together for a well rounded, evidence based decision on treatment. Many patients have had several providers such as specialists, and it is important to keep up with those visits to have a complete picture of the patient's health and needed treatments. Janis has been working in healthcare for many decades and is now making time for the things she enjoys. She has an Arabian gelding, age 19, that she has had since he was a baby, and she wants to spend more time with him. She has grandchildren whose lives she would like to be more a part of. She loves being out in nature and lives in a beautiful area of the country.
