Ashley Unaegbu, PA

Ashley's passion in healthcare comes from meeting patients where they are, helping them better understand their health, and working together to achieve a healthier version of themselves. Ashley believes the role of a primary care provider is to actively listen, show empathy, and consider all aspects of a patient's health (mental and physical) to help them reach their goals. Patient education is important to her because it gives a chance to discuss medical concerns in ways that make sense. Together, she and her patients can create a unique medical plan according to their needs and preferences. Having been a military spouse, Ashley learned how to adapt in an ever changing environment. She lived in four states and overseas. She knows the struggles of working, going to school, and taking care of little ones all at the same time. She gained experience in geriatrics, internal medicine, and mental health. She enjoys spending time painting, traveling, and learning about different cultures. Life is full of ups and downs, but it is how we handle the struggles that defines us, not the struggles themselves.
