Alonzo is passionate about delivering quality care and creating strong relationships with his patients. The satisfaction of helping a patient and hearing that he made a difference in their day is what is most rewarding about being a healthcare provider. He believes the primary care provider needs to be a good listener, director, and coach. Asking and directing the correct questions will help identify key symptoms and diagnosis. Then, providing the patient medical suggestions based on standards of care and the utmost clinical research to deliver the best medicine and service to either their physical or behavioral needs. Alonzo has 15 years of experience in multiple specialties as a Physician Assistant and served four years as a US Army Medical Officer. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, art, strength training, running, and hiking. Please Note: Due to strict regulations in Texas, Alonzo is not authorized to prescribe or refill controlled substances such as stimulants. Patients seeking stimulant medication for ADHD should schedule with an MD or DO. He is happy to assist with non-stimulant alternatives if appropriate, or with any other primary care needs.
